Bio:

Annemarie Bloch studied interdisciplinary and is a graduate of the Master in International Studies (M. A.) from Aarhus University, Denmark, and of the Bachelor in Culture and Economy (B. A.) from the University of Mannheim.

After her studies, she worked in different contexts and countries. Last year, she returned to academia. Before joining Hannes Rothe's team, she contributed to the entrepreneurship education at the Digital Entrepreneurship Hub at Freie Universität Berlin, while preparing to start a dissertation project. Her heart beats for social and ecological impact and the outdoors.

The focus of her research interests currently lie on

  • Regenerative entrepreneurship
  • Socio-ecological transformation 
  • Digital technologies for the common good
  • Web3 actors oriented towards regenerative or sustainable innovation and solutions

She is also very much looking forward to contributing to and engaging with the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Ruhr region.
